I just created and explored a wikki. http://laural.pbworks.com I was not familiar with wikki's before this class - I didn't know that Wikkipedia was a collaboration of people's thoughts/knowledge - I thought it was an official encyclopedia cite! I didn't think the wikki site we used/created was particularly user friendly. I looked for a long time for a link button - not realizing it would link automatically. I never did find the history button or the typo!

Wikkis could be useful in the classroom, even for simple things such as organizing a classroom party/field trip - much like the camping trip example in the video. I also like the idea of the students creating their own wikkipedia type site that would be shared/viewed by classmates/famillies on a particular topic(s).
